Lógica das Proposições: uma introdução para professores
Abstract
This article presents an introduction to the main concepts of propositional logic aimed at teachers, emphasizing its relationship with mathematical language, the organization of reasoning, and the analysis of arguments. The objective is to provide foundations that help teachers both understand the structural elements of logic and use them consciously in teaching situations and in solving logical reasoning questions. The work is characterized as a theoretical-didactic study, organized through the presentation and discussion of fundamental concepts such as propositions, truth values, negation, logical connectives, truth tables, tautology, contradiction, and contingency, together with examples and commented questions from previous public examinations. The approach indicates that the systematization of these contents can contribute to the interpretation of statements, the identification of logical relationships, and the construction of clearer and more coherent arguments. It is concluded that the study of propositional logic can be a relevant resource for teacher education and teaching practice, supporting the development of logical and mathematical reasoning and increasing teachers' confidence when addressing these concepts.
