Abstract

Manufacturing enterprises that supply the construction sector with materials, components, structures, and engineering equipment hold a significant position in Russia’s economy. National and industry level strategic documents define two closely linked priorities for these enterprises: the digital transformation of production processes and the pursuit of sustainable development objectives. A diagnostic assessment of the current situation reveals several systemic challenges, including low labor productivity, a lack of skilled personnel, technological and component import dependence, and weak connectivity of the construction industry to the digital ecosystem. Addressing these challenges necessitates a novel set of management instruments. This paper proposes an integrated toolkit that enables enterprises to align their internal digitalization efforts with the external requirements of the construction sector, particularly through integration with building information modeling (BIM). A digital maturity assessment methodology grounded in the analysis of information processes is introduced, facilitating the identification of priority development directions. The sustainable development indicator framework is expanded with a module that captures digital maturity and import independence. Approaches to business process transformation based on artificial intelligence and organizational innovations are substantiated.
