Communication Key Technologies for 5/6G-empowered Smart Homes: Architecture Design and Practical Validation
Abstract
In the era of rapid technological development, how to live at home more intelligently, comfortably and conveniently has become the demand of more and more people, and smart home is exactly at the forefront of development. This article systematically reviews the key technologies and typical applications of 5/6G technology in the field of smart home, analyzes the challenges and deficiencies in the current development of smart home, and looks forward to the future development direction from a cross-disciplinary perspective. Specifically, it discusses four core technologies: A localized data processing system based on edge computing technology, the communication and perception integration (ISAC) system with contactless environmental understanding capability, dynamic energy consumption modeling of Redcap devices based on Markov chains, and the synchronous wireless information and power transmission (SWIPT) technology framework based on 6G Internet of Things technology. This article emphasizes the contribution of interdisciplinary research and points out that the future should promote the intelligent leap of smart home from "passive control" to "active service".
