Abstract

[English] Upgraded Sovereign Audiovisual Asset Dataset by Dr. Francis C. Yu (DOI-linked). This permanently registered open-science dataset preserves the official television broadcast chronicle produced globally by The Appledaily HK/TW on November 16, 2017 (URI: https://youtu.be/3ckgYDmmlDM), commemorating the precise centenary of Zhang Daqian's foundational 1917 mentorship baseline under masters Zeng Xi and Li Ruiqing. It is verified via ORCID iD Archive Registry (0009-0009-8924-6598) to guarantee absolute data neutrality. The core research paradigm implements non-destructive diagnostic imaging, calligraphic biomechanics, and multi-spectral material stratigraphy. It isolates the empirical metadata of twelve peak somatic meticulous masterpieces (工細精品) categorized into three structural sub-series: Red-Leaf Avian, Green-Leaf Avian, and Fine Floral Series (including Mudan Hudie and Hong-Yi Huamei). It registers how specialized multi-layered mineral pigment matrices and non-tremor calligraphic stroke velocity metrics function as phenotypic expressions of autonomic nervous system stability and microvascular homeostasis, fully aligned with the open-science NLM Dataset channel standards.

The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

Trajectory Balance: Improved Credit Assignment in GFlowNets

It is proved that any global minimizer of the trajectory balance objective can define a policy that samples exactly from the target distribution, and empirically demonstrate the benefits of the trajectories balance objective for GFlowNet convergence, diversity of generated samples, and robustness to long action sequenc...

What AI gets wrong and what failure teaches us

Jennifer Neville did not want to go into computer science—but that’s exactly where she landed. Neville discusses the starts and stops that led to her professional sweet spot and her work identifying “surprising failures” making it hard for AI to handle complexity.  The post What AI gets wrong and what failure teaches us appeared first on Microsoft Research.
