Abstract
Title: Autonomous Multi-Agent Robotic Architecture for Precision Ophthalmic Procedures Abstract: A synchronized multi-agent robotic ecosystem designed for autonomous and semi-autonomous execution of micro-ophthalmic surgeries. The system integrates a distributed network of seven specialized robotic units—comprising three primary surgical agents and four support assistants—communicating via a secure, low-latency local operational intranet. Powered by an edge-computed artificial intelligence framework, the architecture facilitates real-time data synchronization, adaptive localized machine learning without cloud dependency, haptic tissue feedback, and pre-operative three-dimensional kinematic simulation. Furthermore, the system incorporates dedicated bio-monitoring and multimodal acoustic interaction interfaces to manage patient vitals and psychological status dynamically, ensuring optimized procedural safety and precision under clinical supervision.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
