Digital Technology Adoption, Supply Chain Integration and Sustainable Performance in the Textile Sector: The Moderating Role of Supply Chain Resilience
Abstract
This paper explores the impact of adopting digital technologies (ADT) on sustainable supply chain performance (SSCP) in textile manufacturing companies, with the mediation of supply chain integration (SCI) and the boundary condition of supply chain resilience (SCR). The aim is to make clear: not just, but also how and under what circumstances digitalisation contributes to the desired sustainability impacts. The data were collected from the managers of the textile manufacturing companies and then analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS. Indicator reliability, internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were evaluated in the measurement model, and the bootstrapped path coefficients, mediation analysis, and moderation analysis (two-stage approach) were conducted in the structural model. This means, in order toachieve the highest sustainability benefits, textile companies need to complement digital investments with intentional digital integration and with the ability to withstand shocks.
