The Role of Artificial Intellect in Shaping Economic Order

Abstract

The article analyzes such aspects as scales of global AI market, changing investment activities, AI use in practical work. It was pointed out that AI exerts serious impact on global transformation of economic processes, including technological modernization of real sector of economy, upgrading business-processes and shaping new models of interaction between market participants. The author studies key barriers in the field of AI introduction in practical activities and ways of their overcoming. At the same time aspects hindering introduction of AI technologies at enterprises of real sector of Russian economy were investigated. Serious attention should be paid to the fact that the primary objective in the field of applying technologies based on AI does not imply complete liberation of man and replacing him/her by AI technology but aims at making his/her work more effective and safe. As a result the research builds up a comprehensive idea how AI shapes a new economic landscape in the world and what aftereffects it could have on global economy in the long run.
