The state of competitiveness of domestic agricultural machinery products in Russia’s agricultural industry
Abstract
The article proposes to examine the current state of affairs regarding the competitiveness of products in the domestic agricultural machinery industry and ways to enhance it. The problem of the competitiveness of agricultural machinery products is very complex and involves a wide range of tasks. First and foremost, competitiveness implies a comparative analysis of the parameters of products from foreign competitors and our domestic products, which makes it possible to correctly set the guidelines and directions for moving towards the production of domestic products that have competitive advantages over foreign counterparts. An important factor for correctly choosing the direction of development of domestic mechanical engineering in market conditions and for forming the main prerequisites for a strategy to increase competitiveness is an objective analysis of the reasons for its loss by Russian enterprises. In technically developed countries, a proprietary product life‑support system is used, which assumes that all costs at the production and post‑production stages are compensated by the consumer. This ensures that enterprises maintain a constant level of growth in their actual capabilities.
