Subcarrier power allocation algorithm and channel capacity boundary analysis in OFDMA-PLC-MIMO system
Abstract
Power line carrier communication (PLC) technology utilizes existing power lines as communication carriers, with natural advantages such as low cost, wide coverage, and convenient deployment. The main function of power lines is to transmit electrical energy, and the power line channel has problems such as high impedance, rapid changes, strong signal attenuation, and multipath delay. This article focuses on the fusion application of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technologies in PLC scenarios, combining Genetic Algorithm (GA) with Water Injection Algorithm to adaptively allocate dynamic subcarriers in OFDMA. This algorithm combines the principle of water injection with the global optimization capability of GA, and dynamically solves the spectrum resource allocation problem in multi-user multi-channel by optimizing the design of population crossover and mutation operators, aiming to approximate the theoretical boundary of system channel capacity. Finally, establish a communication model for MIMO communication water injection power allocation algorithm, and derive its channel capacity and power allocation value. The simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has significantly improved performance, with faster system transmission rates and a noticeable increase in the channel capacity of communication networks.
