Abstract
Abstract The Atlante grammaticale della lingua italiana delle origini (AGLIO) is an online searchable database designed for the historical-comparative study of the phonology and morphology of ancient Italian varieties. As for root allomorphs in verbs, AGLIO allows us, on the one hand, to learn more about already known phenomena and, on the other, to discover new phenomena that have never been recorded before. This leads to reflections on both the history and geography of Italo-Romance and morphological change in general.
