Abstract

In electrical engineering and power electronics, the most important information signal for control systems is electric current. To do this, the control and measurement system is supplied with an input current signal of the required value in a given range. Currently, various current sensors are being developed and used to solve this problem. Induction current sensors are widely used. The measured current is generally not sinusoidal. Therefore, the sensor output signal generally has an arbitrary shape that varies over time. This does not allow the use of well-known classical calculation methods in complexes. In this article, the task is to develop a methodology for calculating the output signal of an induction current sensor with an arbitrary voltage induced on its secondary winding by the measured current. The replacement circuit of the secondary circuit of induction current sensors is represented by active and inductive resistances. The calculation method is based on the mathematical apparatus for calculating transients using the Duhamel integral. According to the obtained mathematical expression, taking into account the basic parameters of the sensor, calculations of the secondary current are carried out based on the EMF values on the secondary winding, taking into account the winding inductance. The curves of the secondary current characterize the change in its instantaneous values and make it possible to analyze the signal received from the induction sensor for use in automation devices.
