Abstract

Due to the influence of image capturing equipment and external lighting environment, the images we obtain often have the problems of low brightness, local information loss and color distortion. In order to solve these problems, we propose a low illumination image enhancement method based on U-shaped multi-scale network. This method uses multi-scale feature extraction technology and constraint functions such as spatial consistency function and color loss to improve the information extraction and color retention ability of the network and ensure the integrity of the overall structure of the image. At the same time, the multi-scale network block is used to enhance the extraction of component information, combined with the U-shaped structure to realize the fusion of context information, so that the output image is closer to the real image. Experimental results show that this method has obvious effect on low illumination image enhancement, and has good performance in detail information extraction and color correction.
