CONCEPTUAL DIRECTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE FAR EASTERN BORDER REGION
Abstract
This article examines conceptual development directions for the agro-industrial complex of the Far Eastern border region, in light of strengthening foreign economic cooperation with China and increasing the export potential of agricultural products. Key challenges facing the industry are highlighted: high occupancy rates at border crossing points, a lack of specialized agro-logistics facilities, a shortage of processing capacity, and the need for digital transformation of agro-logistics. The author proposes conceptual development directions for the agro-industrial complex of the Far Eastern border region, including the modernization of border crossing points taking into account the requirements of veterinary and phytosanitary control, the creation of agro-logistics terminals and grain hubs, the establishment of processing facilities, and the introduction of unmanned and digital technologies in agro-logistics. It is shown that a systematic approach to the development of border agricultural infrastructure is considered an important condition for achieving strategic objectives of increasing agricultural exports, reducing the time required for cross-border transactions, and enhancing food security.
