We present a comprehensive photometric analysis of 83 eclipsing binary systems using high-precision space photometry from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). The targets were selected from the catalog of Avvakumova et al. to resolve historical classification uncertainties and characterize systems lacking modern data. Using the ELISa modeling code and a Markov Chain Monte Carlo approach, we derived fundamental photometric parameters as: q—photometric mass ratio, i—inclination, T2/T1—temperature ratio, Ω1, Ω2—surface potentials, R1eq , R2eq —equivalent radii in units of semimajor axis. The eight systems exhibit continuous period changes, three show potential light-time effects, and eleven require a third-light contribution. We modeled 26 active systems by incorporating a stellar spot. Using period–color and temperature–color diagrams, we identified several highly anomalous systems that challenge traditional classification schemes. The long-period contact candidate IT Nor (P ≈ 1.75 days) is reinterpreted as a semidetached Algol-type system. Conversely, GX Nor (P ≈ 0.27 days) is identified as a rare, short-period detached binary near the contact boundary. The hot, early-type systems V884 Mon and V395 And also occupy atypical parameter space for their short orbital periods, likely representing key transitional evolutionary phases.
We investigate the short-period Algol-type (EA-type) eclipsing binary system KIC 9451096 using high-precision space-based photometry from Kepler and the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) , complemented by ground-based observations from the Sierra Remote Observatories (SRO), which provide additional constrain...

This study continues our ongoing research on contact binary systems by presenting a detailed analysis of 10 targets. Ground-based observations from six different observatories were conducted and used together with TESS data for the analysis process. Photometric data from our observations were reduced with the recently...

We present a comprehensive photometric study of three W UMa-type contact binary systems, V1104 Her, V1284 Her, and V2822 Ori, based on a combination of ground-based observations and space-based TESS photometry. The light curves were modeled using the BSN application under a contact configuration, with parameters and th...

We present a multi-sector TESS photometric and spectral energy distribution analysis of the eclipsing binary CPD–82 291 (RX J0853.1–8244). Eight TESS sectors reveal well-defined eclipses and substantial, changing out-of-eclipse modulation. The asymmetries are reproduced by different surface-brightness configurations at...

Detached eclipsing binaries (DEBs) provide model‑independent measurements of stellar masses and radii, which are essential for testing stellar‑evolution models and calibrating space‑based photometric missions.
We aim to deliver ultra-precise fundamental parameters for the DEB UX Men and to assess its suitability as a b...
