2026 · OpenScience · 0 citations

Abstract

The article examines the indicators of the internal environment of the healthcare sector as a basis for assessing the economic security of medical organizations. The subject of the study is a set of personnel, financial, organizational, resource, technological and digital characteristics that determine the sustainability of healthcare institutions. The aim of the study is to identify the key internal factors affecting the level of economic security and to substantiate an analytical approach to their comprehensive assessment. The methodological framework includes systems analysis, comparative analysis, indicator grouping, and interpretation of statistical and analytical materials on staffing, management quality, digital transformation, and resource use. The results show that the greatest impact on economic security is produced by staff shortages, uneven workload distribution, deterioration of the material and technical base, insufficient integration of digital solutions, and differences in the quality of internal management. It is demonstrated that analysis of the internal environment makes it possible not only to identify current constraints but also to reveal reserves for improving sustainability, quality of medical care, and efficiency of resource use. The study concludes that an integrated system of internal indicators is needed to support sound managerial decision-making in healthcare.
