Abstract

In this paper, we present a state-of-the-art graphene-based THz Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antenna, specifically designed for the next generation of 6G wireless communication. The antenna is compact, with overall dimensions of 125×85 µm², and employs polyimide as the substrate material, with a thickness of 4 µm. It operates across a broad frequency spectrum, resonating at 3.98 THz, 5.04 THz, and 6.05 THz, with a substantial bandwidth of 3.44 THz. The design achieves an exceptional peak gain of 13.31 dB and a high efficiency of 96.38%, underscoring its potential for high-performance applications. The antenna's MIMO configuration demonstrates excellent isolation between elements, measured at 35.18 dB, with an Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) as low as 0.00008 and a Diversity Gain (DG) of 9.9996, ensuring robust communication links. This study highlights the antenna's feasibility for THz band applications, positioning it as a strong candidate for integration into future 6G networks.
