TL;DR

The biodistribution assay in induced animal models with TNBC showed that although there was a high capture by intestine, the DDS developed had a high tumor uptake and with great in vivo imaging properties, corroborating the possibility of use of this DDS as an imaging drug for TNBC.

Preclinical Evaluation of B7−H3-Targeted ADC-Based Molecular Imaging in Lung and Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

B7−H3 is widely expressed in multiple solid tumors but shows minimal expression in normal tissues, making it an ideal target for molecular imaging; however, its systematic investigation remains limited. In this study, we utilized the clinically investigated B7−H3-targeted antibody−drug conjugate (ADC) HS-20093 to dev...

scFv-Fcs as a Radiotheranostic Platform for Targeting TRA-1-60 in Pancreatic Cancers

Purpose: TRA-1-60 (TRA) is an established cancer stemness marker implicated in tumor initiation, therapeutic resistance, and disease relapse. It is minimally expressed in normal differentiated tissues, making it an appealing biomarker for immunopositron emission tomography (immunoPET) imaging and radiopharmaceutical th...

Dynamic PD-L1 Imaging with a NIR-II Fluorescent Probe for Monitoring and Precision Radio-Immunotherapy in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) is a dynamic biomarker relevant to radiotherapy and immunotherapy, motivating the development of noninvasive approaches for longitudinal assessment. Here we report a PD-L1–targeted near-infrared II (NIR-II) fluorescent probe, PNF-ICG, generated by conjugating a cyclic PD-L1–binding p...

A target-activated AS1411 aptamer probe for in vivo and ex vivo imaging of nucleolin-overexpressing triple-negative breast cancer

Fluorescence imaging of breast cancer is often limited by high background signals from conventional “always-on” probes. The nucleolin-targeting AS1411 aptamer provides a promising recognition element for tumors with elevated nucleolin expression, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). This study aimed to d...

Targeted Nanomedicine for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Closing the Delivery Efficiency Gap

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) continues to resist the therapeutic gains achieved in other breast cancer subtypes, and much of that resistance, it turns out, is less about the drugs themselves than about where they end up in the body. Passively targeted nanocarriers were meant to solve this, yet a substantial bod...
