IoT and Edge/Fog Computing
Abstract
This article examines the theoretical foundations, architectural features, and integration possibilities of Edge Computing and Cloud Computing technologies. While Cloud Computing is focused on providing computing resources through a centralized infrastructure, Edge Computing is based on processing data in a computing environment located close to the source of the data. The study presents a comparative analysis of these technologies according to such indicators as the location of data processing, network latency, bandwidth, scalability, resource utilization, and suitability for IoT systems. In addition, a multilayer architecture based on Edge–Cloud integration is proposed, in which the Edge layer performs initial processing in real time, while the Cloud layer performs centralized storage, complex computations, and analytical tasks. The results of the study show that the combined use of Edge and Cloud Computing technologies can improve architectural efficiency in processing large volumes of distributed data.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
