IoT-Enabled in Antenatal Telemedicine for Early Risk Detection and Real-Time Maternal Health Monitoring
Abstract
This study presents a framework for wearable healthcare monitoring devices (WHMDs) integrated with telemedicine systems to enable real-time monitoring of maternal health during pregnancy. Using advanced fractional-order modelling, the research evaluates WHMD performance in detecting and managing pregnancy-related risks. Mathematical analysis confirms the reliability and stability of the proposed system. Results indicate that WHMD use can effectively reduce the likelihood of adverse pregnancy outcomes, supporting early intervention and improved maternal care. Optimal control strategies were developed using a fractional multi-stage differential transform approach, demonstrating the potential of WHMDs to enhance telemedicine-driven disease management and maternal health services.
