Abstract

EL-RAKHAWI DOCTRINE OF TOPOLOGICAL NEUROMORPHIC COMPUTING: SUMMARY This groundbreaking technical monograph presents a comprehensive framework for next-generation electronic chips based on topological insulators, 2D materials, and neuromorphic architectures, addressing fundamental physical limits of conventional semiconductors. Five foundational pillars:(1) Room-Temperature Topological Edge States - Quantum anomalous Hall effect in bismuthene-on-silicon-carbide heterostructures with engineered time-reversal symmetry breaking through magnetic proximity effect (CrI3/MnBi2Te4 layers) and vacancy engineering, enabling zero-resistance conduction at room temperature (2) 2D Material Memristive Arrays - TMDC memristors emulating biological synapses for in-memory matrix multiplication with 10,000-fold energy reduction (1-10 TOPS/W vs. 10 TOPS/W for GPUs) (3) Encapsulated Dynamic Self-Healing - Automated crystalline defect repair through localized Joule heating within hermetically sealed hBN/Al2O3 encapsulation (15-30 nm), preventing oxidation at 500-800°C healing temperatures (4) Hybrid Dielectric-Plasmonic Photonic Interconnects - Combining dielectric waveguides (low loss, 1-10 mm propagation) with graphene plasmonic elements (50-100 nm confinement at critical points) for 1-10 Tb/s bandwidth with 0.1-1 fJ/bit efficiency (5) Phononic Bandgap Thermal Management - Engineered phononic crystals for directional heat dissipation, maintaining <85°C at 500-1000 W/cm² power density Critical microscopic corrections:- Engineered time-reversal symmetry breaking mechanism explicitly detailed (magnetic proximity + vacancy engineering)- Hermetic encapsulation protocol mandatory for self-healing (prevents oxidation/sublimation)- Hybrid waveguide design replacing pure plasmonics (extends propagation from 1-5 μm to 1-10 mm)- Strategic defensive publication of sub-optimal parameters while protecting optimal parameters as trade secrets Performance specifications:- Computing: 1-10 PetaOPS, 1,000-10,000 TOPS/W- Bandwidth: 1-10 Tb/s per chip- Lifetime: >20 years with encapsulated self-healing- Cost: $7-22 per chip at volume production- ROI: 1000-5000% over 10 years- Market potential: $14.5-55 billion by 2030 Comprehensive intellectual property protection covering 8 patent applications under Berne Convention, PCT, and TRIPS, with perpetual moral rights, trademark protection, and enforcement mechanisms. The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
