Development and Implementation of Blockchain Technologies in the Financial System of Kazakhstan

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the process of development and implementation of blockchain technologies in the financial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The key areas of blockchain application are considered, including digital currencies, smart contracts and improving the transparency of financial transactions. The institutional and regulatory aspects affecting the adaptation of technology in the national financial infrastructure are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the initiatives of government agencies and the private sector to create an enabling environment for digital innovation. The article provides examples of successful cases of using blockchain in the banking and financial sector of Kazakhstan. It is concluded that the technology has the potential to improve the efficiency and security of financial transactions. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state, key directions and prospects for the introduction of blockchain technologies into the financial system of Kazakhstan, taking into account institutional, regulatory and technological factors.
