Enhancing Enterprise Efficiency: The Role of Information Support in Implementing Resource-Saving Technological Changes

Abstract

A methodological approach to assessing the impact of information support for the implementation of resource-saving technological changes (RSTC) on the efficiency of enterprise activities has been developed. A comprehensive system of quantitative indicators for assessing enterprise resource use efficiency is presented. The research delineates a structured sequence for analyzing the influence of information support levels on the successful realization of RSTC and subsequent enterprise performance outcomes. The proposed methodological principles were empirically validated through application to a representative sample of Ukrainian enterprises, revealing a statistically significant positive relationship between the degree of information support for RSTC implementation and the efficiency of resource utilization among the investigated companies.
