Determinants of Take-Up of the Management and Performance Program Under a Telework Arrangement
Abstract
The objective of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the adherence of employees at a public university to the Management and Performance Program (MPP). To this end, a questionnaire was administered to 104 employees, and the data obtained were examined using Factor and Cluster Analysis. The results revealed that psychological aspects, most notably well-being and emotional balance, were the primary drivers of adherence to the MPP. Organizational aspects and the development of competencies for telework showed intermediate relevance, whereas economic factors exhibited lower relevance. This research contributes by providing evidence to inform strategies and practices in remote work.
