Abstract

This study evaluates a QR Code-based Asset Management System used in the Computer Engineering Department of Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya through two distinct evidence streams: page-level technical auditing and user-reported usability. Google Lighthouse was applied to 10 pages selected to represent different processing loads, interface components, and system activities. Each URL was audited three times in Desktop configuration, yielding 30 audit results. Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO were summarized by category, and the sample standard deviation of Performance was additionally calculated to characterize repeatability. User evaluation employed the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 20 participants representing five system roles. Ten Likert responses were transformed using the SUS scoring rule, after which individual scores were described using the mean, median, sample standard deviation, range, and acceptability distribution. Lighthouse produced category means of 94.40 for Performance, 87.20 for Accessibility, 100.00 for Best Practices, and 91.00 for SEO. Performance, Best Practices, and SEO were classified as Good, while Accessibility remained in Needs Improvement. SUS yielded a mean of 71.5, a median of 72.5, and a standard deviation of 14.40; 11 participants were classified as Acceptable and 9 as Marginal. The two instruments were not merged into a single index because they operate on different units of analysis. Reading both results side by side indicates that strong technical scores can coexist with accessibility issues and heterogeneous user experience, particularly in initial learning, interaction consistency, and computationally demanding pages.
