Longitudinal control of UAV unpowered flight based on L1 adaptive control
Abstract
Considering the possibility of engine failure during aerial parking of unmanned aerial vehicles, it is necessary to develop a reasonable emergency landing plan to guide the unmanned aerial vehicle to complete the emergency landing. This article takes the longitudinal control system of unmanned aerial vehicles as the research object, designs longitudinal flight strategies based on the aerodynamic characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles, and introduces L1 adaptive control theory to address the uncertainties in the system and environment during flight. The results indicate that using the pitch angle corresponding to the shallowest gliding as the control input command can effectively track the shallowest gliding attitude. Combined with L1 adaptive control, the proposed model achieves a balance between speed and robustness in complex systems.
