Topic Modeling Information Retrieval and Search Behavior

Abstract

English summary: A local retrieval-augmented knowledge base for scientific literature (PBPK and pharmacometrics): PDF extraction with GROBID and optionally Google Document AI, section-based chunking, embeddings (bge-large) and BM25 in Qdrant for hybrid search; an MCP server written in Python provides search and annotation tools for language models. Offline tests (pytest) check chunking, hybrid search and the MCP server on a synthetic corpus, and a tool in eval/ prepares the evaluation of hit rate and source fidelity (results to follow). Code only, no literature data.
