ELASTIC Newsletter #5: Into the Final Stretch

Oct 2026 · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)
Security and Verification in Computing

Abstract

The fifth issue of the ELASTIC project newsletter marks the project's final stretch towards its conclusion in February 2027, as the consortium moves from mid-term results to system-level integration and validation. This issue covers ELASTIC's participation at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2026 in Málaga (Booth 76), where both demonstrators were shown live, and the technical plenary in Belgrade. It presents the project's integration focus: secure WebAssembly orchestration with Propeller, remote attestation and confidential workload migration, eBPF-based security, federated learning and AI-powered intrusion detection. Further highlights include a general-audience article on the project, the component booklet now on Zenodo, ELASTIC's co-organisation of the WACE 2026 workshop at ACM Middleware (Tarragona, 14–18 December 2026), the recording and slides of the joint ELASTIC & 6G-PATH webinar, collaborations with SAFE-6G and 6G-PATH, and recent scientific publications at KDD 2026 (Lasso) and ARES 2026 (WasmStone).
