Abstract

EL-RAKHAWI THEORY OF ALGORITHMIC SILICON PLASTICITY (ASP-SONI)Author: Dr. Mohamed Kamal Arafa El-Rakhawi A paradigm-shifting monograph reconceptualizing silicon from a rigid substrate to a dynamic, self-rewiring computational fabric that adapts its physical topology to tasks in real-time. Core innovation: The Algorithmic Silicon Plasticity Index Equation (strictly bounded [0,1]):$$\Psi_{si} = \left(\frac{\mathcal{T}_{rewire}}{\mathcal{T}_{max}}\right) \cdot \left(\frac{\mathcal{C}_{throughput}}{\mathcal{C}_{max}}\right) \cdot \left(\frac{\mathcal{E}_{ideal}}{\mathcal{E}_{dissipation}}\right) \cdot \left(\frac{\mathcal{A}_{coherence}}{\mathcal{A}_{coherence} + \mathcal{N}_{entropy}}\right)$$ This dimensionless metric quantifies algorithmic plasticity via the Algorithmic Coherence Fraction — a mathematically bounded formulation ensuring values strictly between 0 and 1. Four-layer closed-loop architecture: (1) Dynamic Topological Reconfiguration via memristive crossbars and photonic switches (<10μs); (2) Algorithmic Thermodynamic Computing harnessing thermal fluctuations and energy landscape shaping; (3) Self-Organizing Coherence Monitoring maintaining >99% logical consistency; (4) Autonomous Energy Harvesting via piezoelectric/thermoelectric systems operating within Carnot-limited bounds. Five testable predictions: (1) >99% energy reduction for dynamic workloads; (2) <10μs reconfiguration; (3) >90% theoretical throughput; (4) >99% algorithmic coherence; (5) >25% net energy reduction via thermodynamically viable heat recovery. Applications: Edge AI, data center sustainability, implantable medical devices, deep-space computing, self-healing electronics. Comprehensive IP protection: 6 original constructs attributed, Berne Convention copyright, perpetual moral rights. All rights reserved. Full citation: El-Rakhawi, M. K. A. (2026). The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
