Tłumaczenie maszynowe a czasowniki o zatartej zawartości semantycznej
Abstract
The proposed article addresses a currently relevant topic in the field of linguistic machine translation. Automatic translation has reached a level that offers users significant possibilities. However, despite the relatively high quality of the output, it should be noted that it is not without its shortcomings. The paper supports the stated thesis through an analysis of Polish translations of a selected Russian verb, which represents a lexical unit within a verbal group characterized by a semantically blurred component. This verb refines its semantic content through possible combinations with other lexemes, becoming more expressive and unambiguous. For the purposes of this analysis, several such combinations were selected and subsequently subjected to automatic translation using three different tools.
