Abstract
In its judgment, the Curia ruled on the issue whether a university admissions guide may be subject to judicial review by administrative courts. The Curia established that such guides have to be classified as administrative acts, more specifically provisions of general application within the legal framework of the Code on Administrative Court Procedure. Therefore, applicants can challenge the legality of such guides in conjunction with the individual administrative act in which the provisions of the guide are applied to the applicant. The Curia also stated that the autonomy of universities does not preclude administrative courts from conducting judicial review of university admissions guides.
