The development of information technology and the use of various digital platforms bring opportunities as well as challenges to the learning process. The excessive use of digital devices can affect students' concentration and involvement, while critical thinking skills are one of the important competencies in 21st century learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MAN 2 Jakarta. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample amounted to 106 grade XI students who were selected through simple random sampling from a population of 145 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and documentation, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that students' critical thinking skills were in the high category (52.8%), while the application of PBL was in the medium (50.9%) and high (48.1%) categories. The regression results resulted in the equation Y = 16.535 + 0.858X. The t-test showed a t-calculated value of 13.552 with a significance of 0.000, so that there was a significant statistical relationship/influence between the application of PBL and critical thinking skills. The R² value of 0.638 showed that the variation in critical thinking ability that could be explained by the PBL model in the regression model was 63.8%, while 36.2% was explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings show that PBL has a strong relationship with the development of students' critical thinking skills in learning the Qur'an Hadith.
