Lingkup Evaluasi Pembelajaran: Analisis Integrasi Pandangan Imam Ghazali di Era Kontemporer
Abstract
The evaluation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is a systematic and continuous process that aims not only to measure students' academic achievements but also to assess the effectiveness of the learning process, teaching strategies, competency attainment, and the development of attitudes and skills. Educational evaluation serves to determine educational value, thereby revealing quality or outcomes and allowing for an assessment of the educational process's success. This research aims to foster a positive shift toward more relevant and inclusive education by prioritizing cognitive and moral aspects, thereby comprehensively enhancing educational quality. A library research method was employed, involving the examination of relevant literature, including books and scholarly journals. The study results propose integrating the concept of al-muhasabah (self-reflection/accountability) as a reflective and transformative foundation within the scope of contemporary PAI learning evaluation. This integration suggests an evaluation framework that extends beyond the mere measurement and assessment of learning outcomes to include reflection, correction, and continuous improvement oriented toward the formation of Islamic character. Consequently, the success of PAI learning is determined not only by academic grades and subject mastery but also by the development of honesty, discipline, responsibility, moral awareness, and noble character in both educators and students. Thus, this research contributes to the development of a PAI learning evaluation framework that integrates academic, pedagogical, moral, and spiritual dimensions within a process of continuous improvement.
