Energy-energy correlators probe perturbative and nonperturbative QCD regimes of jet formation through momentum-weighted angular correlations between hadrons. First measurements in light-quark-enriched jets are presented for inclusive, like-sign, and opposite-sign charged-hadron pairs, using proton-proton collisions at LHCb. The results support universality of the confinement scale for light-quark-initiated jets across collision systems and the reported transverse momentum scale of the jet. In the charge-dependent measurements, opposite-sign correlations are enhanced as angular separation decreases down to the confinement-scale region, a behavior that is well described by simulations.
We present predictions for the collinear energy-energy correlator (EEC) measured inside $Z$-tagged jets in proton-proton collisions across the confinement transition. Our framework combines transverse-momentum-dependent factorization for back-to-back $Z+$jet production with an exclusive differential EEC jet function in...

Prompt-photon production with recoiling QCD radiation is crucial for new-physics searches, determinations of parton distribution and fragmentation functions, and jet-quenching studies in heavy-ion collisions. We present the first fully differential NNLO QCD predictions for photon-associated identified-hadron production...

A search for new high-mass phenomena in events with a high-transverse-momentum photon and a jet is performed using data collected by the ATLAS experiment from proton-proton collisions at the LHC, with a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The analysis is based on a total integrated luminosity of 140 fb$^{-1}$. The $\gamma...
We consider the effects of next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to transverse spin asymmetries (TSAs) in deep inelastic scattering at the future Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) with polarized electron and proton beams that depend on light quark dipole operators. The TSAs are robust under the inclusion of the NLO QCD...
The suppression of collinear gluon emissions from a massive quark, or the ``dead-cone effect,''is the primary manifestation of quark mass effects in parton showers. A proton-proton collision data set recorded by the CMS experiment at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 59.8 fb$^{-1}$ is analyzed. A dif...
Single inclusive hadron suppression in high-energy heavy-ion collisions provides a sensitive probe of parton energy loss and jet transport coefficient in quark-gluon plasma (QGP). System size dependence of jet quenching can provide further constraints on the dynamics of jet quenching and parton energy loss. Motivated b...
