Abstract

Contemporary quantum computing and frontier artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructures spearheaded by hyperscale technology conglomerates face a profound thermodynamic self-contradiction: reliance on extreme cryogenic dilution refrigeration (0.010–0.015 K) entails massive parasitic electrical power consumption, Helium-3 (3He) isotope depletion, and severe occupational and ecological externalities. Attempting to optimize planetary environmental systems using centralized infrastructures that impose unsustainable thermodynamic burdens constitutes an irreconcilable structural paradox. In this monograph, we formulate and formalize Super RTO (Super Real-Time Optimization / RTO P2.0), a comprehensive autonomous decentralized architecture engineered to resolve both the thermodynamic bottleneck of cryogenic quantum hardware and the combinatorial explosion of classical Real-Time Optimization (RTO). The Super RTO stack integrates three foundational layers: (1) a Physical & Device Layer grounded in room-temperature dissipative quantum mechanics—harnessing Environment-Assisted Quantum Transport (ENAQT), Frohlich condensation in Non-Equilibrium Steady States (NESS), and Lindblad dissipative dark-state engineering across room-temperature topological insulators, diamond Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers, and superradiant Dicke quantum batteries; (2) a Mathematical & Optimization Algorithm Layer combining Variational Quantum Algorithms (VQA), continuous Sobolev space (H^s) weak-form evaluation (eliminating discrete sampling fencepost errors), deterministic verification over the 64-bit Goldilocks prime field (F_p, p = 2^64 - 2^32 + 1) via QFS-zkVM, and autonomous phase synchronization via the Quantum Kuramoto and van der Pol oscillator models; and (3) a Security & Governance Layer enforcing irreversible edge sensor root proofs via NIST FIPS 204 (ML-DSA) lattice signatures, Zero-Trust Key Management Infrastructure (ZT-KMI, DOJ 728985-XMN), PHOENIX_BRIDGE / PHOENIX_ROUTER deterministic hardware interlocks, and Human-in-Command (HIC) fiduciary governance. Finally, we present a concrete societal implementation model targeting a 100% renewable Distributed Energy Resource (DER) community microgrid in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, demonstrating sub-cycle frequency/voltage stabilization within < 0.01 s, a 25%–38% reduction in transmission Joule heating losses, and cryptographically verifiable peer-to-peer (P2P) electricity settlement as a blueprint for Global Public Infrastructure (GPI). The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

Solving a 31-year-old grand challenge in mathematics – the KLS conjecture

For decades, a fundamental question about the difficulty of computing in high-dimensional spaces has resisted proof. New research resolves this question, removing a major theoretical obstacle to understanding the efficiency of randomized algorithms used across science and computing. The Kannan–Lovász–Simonovits (KLS) conjecture was proposed in 1995. It asks whether, for a broad class of high-dimensional […] The post Solving a 31-year-old grand challenge in mathematics – the KLS conjecture appear…
