TL;DR

This article will discuss outcome and correlation between dengue and environment, rainfall, urbanization, climatic and non-climatic factors and and wants to derive recommendations.

Abstract

Unexpected weather patterns that might lead to dangerous situations are a result of climate change. The healthcare system is one of the many sectors impacted by climate change. Climate change will cause several vector-borne infectious illnesses to spread geographically. Dengue is currently causing a lot of damage, and one of the main factors accelerating the spread of the disease is climate change. Rainfall, temperature, and relative humidity are the three main meteorological variables associated with dengue transmission. This article will discuss outcome and correlation between dengue and environment, rainfall, urbanization, climatic and non-climatic factors and and wants to derive recommendations.

How climate change affects mosquito-borne infectious disease: The different trajectories of malaria and dengue

As climate change increases temperatures, additional warmth combines with rainfall and humidity to enhance conditions for mosquito populations to thrive. Greater spread of Anopheles and Aedes vectors increases the risk of transmission of the world’s most prevalent mosquito-borne infectious diseases, malaria and dengue....

Exploring the Increased Risk of Vector-Borne Diseases Driven by Climate Change and Proposing Strategic Solutions to Mitigate the Impact. A Narrative Review

Since the middle of the 20th century, human activity has caused Earth's climate to change. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change projects that global temperatures will continue rising in the coming decades, leading to significant environmental and health impacts. This traditional narrative review synthesises ev...

Climate Change and Dengue in Bangladesh: Public Health Challenges and Action Priorities

Dengue is an increasingly important public health problem in Bangladesh, driven by climate variability, rapid urbanization, inadequate drainage, intermittent water supply, and weak environmental management. These factors support Aedes breeding and sustain transmission, making dengue a climate-sensitive urban health cha...

Climate-Driven Differential Dynamics of Vector-Borne Diseases in the Niger-Delta: Mathematical Modelling and Environmental Health Policy Implications

Climate change has become one of the biggest environmental problems shaping public health worldwide, mainly when viewing its impact on vector-borne diseases. In the Niger-Delta area of Nigeria, there are ecological conditions that promote the increase of disease vectors, like mosquitoes, sandflies, and ticks, and this...
