INTELLIGENT ANALYTICS AS A TOOL FOR STRATEGIC FORECASTING AND IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF PROCESSES IN MARITIME ACTIVITY
Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of using intelligent analytics for strategic forecasting and improving the efficiency of processes in maritime activity, with a focus on systematizing modern approaches to integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data methods into the management of maritime assets, port infrastructure, and logistics chains. The relevance of the study is due to the fundamental transformation of the maritime industry under the influence of digitalization, when data ceases to be a passive resource and becomes an active, transformative tool capable of providing an operational advantage and improving the safety and sustainability of maritime operations. Unlike works that focus on individual technological solutions, this study emphasizes the systemic understanding of intelligent analytics as a platform tool that integrates forecasting, real-time monitoring, and decision-support into a single management cycle.
