The Effect of Profit Growth, Capital Structure, and Independent Commissioners on Company Value at PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk Period 2015 - 2025

Abstract

The decline in the company value of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk during the 2015-2025 period indicates the need to examine the factors that influence company value. This study aims to analyze the effect of profit growth, capital structure, and independent commissioners on company value. This study uses a quantitative method with a causal associative approach and secondary data in the form of annual reports, sustainability reports, and stock price data of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk for the 2015-2025 period. The population and sample of the study are financial data and corporate governance during the observation period selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through documentation and analyzed using SPSS 27 through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, F tests, and t tests. The results of the study indicate that profit growth does not have a significant effect on company value, capital structure has a significant effect with a negative direction, while independent commissioners have no significant effect. In conclusion, capital structure is a factor that significantly influences company value in this study.
