Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of community economic empowerment through digital financial literacy and sharia-based MSME transformation in Sempajaya Village, Karo Regency. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method by describing the implementation of empowerment activities, digital financial education, mentoring, and the adoption of QRIS as an alternative payment method for MSME actors. The results indicate that digital financial literacy can help the community understand the use of technology to support business activities, while the implementation of QRIS provides a more practical alternative for transactions in line with the development of digital payment systems. Mentoring plays an important role in this process by helping MSME actors understand the practical use of technology and relate it to their business needs. From a sharia economic perspective, MSME digitalization should not only focus on transaction convenience but also promote the principles of transparency, fairness, responsibility, and public benefit. This activity demonstrates that integrating digital financial literacy, technological utilization, and sharia values can contribute to strengthening community economic independence and improving the ability of MSMEs to adapt to developments in the digital economy.
