Strategi Guru dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Kelas III di SDI Tabene
Abstract
This study aimed to describe teacher strategies for improving students' learning activeness in Grade III at SDI Tabene. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving the Grade III teacher, school principal, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña framework, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated that teachers applied several strategies to enhance student participation, including providing motivation, offering rewards and appreciation, implementing question-and-answer sessions, organizing group discussions, and encouraging students to express their opinions. These strategies helped develop students' confidence, courage, and active involvement in classroom learning activities. Furthermore, the study identified internal and external factors influencing learning activeness. Internal factors included students' learning motivation, while external factors involved parental involvement and a supportive learning environment. These findings highlight the importance of interactive teaching strategies and collaboration between teachers, parents, and schools in fostering meaningful learning experiences and promoting students' active participation in elementary education.
