Bone/bone marrow metastasis seems to be more sensible to this treatment compared to soft tissue lesions and the percentage of GD2-positive tumor cells tends to decrease under chemoimmunotherapy pressure.
Abstract
Highlights • Chemoimmunotherapy in refractory/relapsed neuroblastoma is well tolerated.• Bone/bone marrow metastasis seems to be more sensible to this treatment compared to soft tissue lesions.• Primary and soft tissue lesions often decrease in metabolic activity despite the absence of radiological response.• The percentage of GD2-positive tumor cells tends to decrease under chemoimmunotherapy pressure.
The clinical case described concerns a 56-years old woman with triple-negative breast cancer metastic to bone progressed with previous chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Our patient, treated in second line with sacituzumab govitecan, obtained prolonged disease control without severe toxicity e with good quality of life.

Relapsed and refractory (R/R) T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma (T‐ALL/T‐LL) remains a therapeutic challenge. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) after achieving complete remission (CR) offers the only chance of cure, but effective modalities to achieve CR are limited. Activation of mTO...

Perioperative treatment with enfortumab vedotin (EV) plus pembrolizumab has demonstrated a high pathological complete response (pCR) rate in patients with cisplatin‐ineligible muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). However, whether this therapeutic benefit reflects true pharmacologic synergy or can be explained by inde...
