High-energy astrophysical neutrinos provide a unique probe of Lorentz-invariance violation (LIV), as small energy-dependent deviations from the speed of light can produce measurable time delays over cosmological distances. We search for LIV-induced correlations between neutrinos and gamma-ray bursts using the public 12-year IceCube High-Energy Starting Event dataset and a catalog of 746 bursts with measured redshifts. We develop a likelihood analysis accounting for neutrino directional and energy uncertainties, a possible intrinsic time offset between neutrino and gamma-ray emission, and the decay of superluminal neutrinos expected within effective field theory. For linear LIV, the data show a mild preference over the background-only hypothesis, with a $p$-value of $3.1\%$, corresponding to a one-sided Gaussian significance of approximately $1.9\sigma$. The best fit corresponds to a LIV scale $\Lambda_{\rm LIV}=5.8\times10^{17}\,\mathrm{GeV}$ and is effectively driven by the subluminal component, as superluminal neutrinos are strongly suppressed by LIV-induced decays at the analyzed energies. The preferred LIV scale and the most significant neutrino--gamma-ray burst associations are consistent with previous studies based on different statistical approaches. No evidence for quadratic LIV is found. These results motivate further searches with complementary neutrino datasets, particularly at lower energies, where the superluminal component may become observable.
We investigate superluminal Lorentz invariance violation (LIV) in the neutrino sector using cosmogenic neutrino fluxes generated with ultrahigh-energy cosmic-ray propagation models. Standard fluxes are calculated with CRPropa 3.2 and subsequently modified using a prescription based on LIV-induced neutrino splitting....

High-energy neutrinos from active galactic nuclei provide a powerful probe of dark matter (DM) spikes surrounding supermassive black holes. While elastic neutrino-DM scattering mediated by a light particle produces little net attenuation due to regeneration, inelastic scattering, $\nu\chi_1\to\nu\chi_2$, introduces a n...
Core-collapse supernova neutrinos offer a unique probe of physics beyond the Standard Model over Galactic baselines. Yet even a high-statistics nearby burst may be limited by source uncertainties, especially for propagation effects that average over energy and appear only as an overall flux suppression. Inspired by nea...
During a core-collapse supernova (CCSN), the emitted electron antineutrino ($\bar{\nu}_e$) burst initiates inverse beta decay (IBD) in the outer hydrogen layer of the stellar envelope. This leads to the production of a characteristic 511 keV photon signal, termed the Gamma-Ray Echo. The same neutrino burst, when detect...

Experimental constraints on the diffuse neutrino flux above the PeV range have been obtained with Cherenkov neutrino telescopes, air-shower arrays, radio detectors in and above polar ice, and radio observations of the Moon. Published results use different flavor, energy-bin, and statistical conventions, so their flux l...
We perform a time-integrated search for high energy neutrinos from 27 fast X-ray transients (FXTs) detected by Einstein Probe, using 14 years of publicly available IceCube muon-track data. We employ the unbinned maximum likelihood method which is used for IceCube point source searches. We do not find any statistically...
