INVESTIGATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF METHODS FOR SELECTING SENSORS FOR VIBRATION DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEMS
Abstract
The lack of a unified systematization of approaches to vibration sensor selection hinders the informed choice of a method for specific industrial conditions. A classification based on the role of the method in the decision-making process is proposed. For each block in the taxonomy, typical input data and applicability limits are defined. It is established that isolated methods do not simultaneously provide practical accessibility and scientific validity, while the dominant trend is the transition to multi-stage hybrid procedures.
