An anatomically guided, compartment-based framework for MR-based evaluation of the sciatic nerve from the lumbosacral plexus through the deep gluteal region and posterior thigh is provided and emphasis is placed on precise neuroanatomical localization and mechanistic characterization of sciatic nerve involvement.
Clinicians should consider pelvic MRI when conventional imaging is unremarkable and symptoms fail to improve with standard treatment to avoid unnecessary interventions and diagnostic delays in sciatic schwannomas.

Background: Degenerative lumbar canal stenosis (LCS) is a leading cause of low-back pain, neurogenic claudication, and lower-limb radiculopathy in older adults. Although magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the preferred modality for anatomical assessment, clinical interpretation often remains challenging because stenos...

Used within this governed framework, HF-POCUS has the potential to reduce diagnostic ambiguity, shorten time to decision-making, improve surgical planning, support more transparent patient counselling, and create a reproducible pre-operative anatomical hypothesis for clinical decision-making processes in suspected nTOS...

A 45-year-old woman developed refractory bilateral occipital pain consistent with occipital neuralgia after cervical arthrodesis for disc herniation and HRUS allowed diagnosis and percutaneous treatment of greater occipital nerve neuroma in this patient, illustrating its diagnostic value in occipital nerve injury.

Repetitive use injuries are commonly seen by musculoskeletal providers, usually in the form of tendinopathies. However, focal peripheral nerve entrapment can mimic or coexist with tendon pathology, particularly when weakness, sensory symptoms, or imaging findings are subtle or nonspecific. This review provides a practi...
