Abstract

On its absolute-integrability domain, the positive $\beta$-integral is integration with respect to a finite positive purely atomic measure. After normalisation, its Chebyshev functional is a covariance, and its $L^p$-spaces are canonically isometric to direct sums of weighted sequence spaces. On the natural product- and square-integrability domains, the previously formulated $\beta$-Gr\"uss inequalities reduce to Korkine's identity, H\"older's inequality, Cauchy--Schwarz, and elementary variance bounds. On the induced countably atomic probability space, the optimal fixed-grid coefficient is $\kappa_\beta=\sup_A P_\beta(A)(1-P_\beta(A))\leq 1/4$, the countably atomic counterpart of the classical finite weighted coefficient; it may be strictly smaller than $1/4$. The same reduction corrects a coefficient previously claimed to be best possible and identifies a missing sign hypothesis in a related convexity estimate. For the Riemann--Stieltjes $\beta$-integral, within the class of finite induced signed measures, the $\beta$-Lipschitz condition is equivalent to $|\nu_u|\leq L\mu_\beta$. This reduces the principal centred signed estimate to total variation and yields its exact fixed-grid coefficient $2\kappa_\beta$. Finally, truncation of the two atomic orbits gives positive quadrature rules with explicit tail masses. A fixed-point correction yields computable H\"older error bounds, while the uncorrected geometrically graded rule accommodates integrable singularities at the fixed point.

Mixed Poincar\'e and Fefferman--Phong inequalities for measure potentials on $2$-PI spaces

We prove a fixed-outer-domain content--capacity estimate for every positive codimensional gain on an unbounded complete $2$-PI space. As its principal measure-theoretic consequence, a one-sided ball-growth condition for an arbitrary positive Radon measure $\pi$ yields \[ \pi(K)\lesssim\operatorname{cap}_{2,\omega}(K;\Lambda_0B) \] uniformly for compact $K\subset B$. No doubling or lower-dimensional regularity is imposed on $\pi$. This capacitary domination gives a representative-independent mean-zero trace inequality. On normalized balls, it is equivalent, modulo the ambient Poincar\'e energy, to the mixed $d\omega\,d\pi$ oscillation required in Fefferman--Phong reductions. A standard bounded-overlap localization then yields two-sided global Fefferman--Phong inequalities, cover-independent energy norms, and a concrete realization of the associated homogeneous energy completion. The abstract results are verified for Euclidean $A_2$ weights with generalized Schr\"odinger measure potentials, reverse-H\"older function potentials, Carnot groups, and lower-dimensional singular measures. We compare the local trace conclusion with existing two-weighted Poincar\'e and Sobolev embedding theorems: those routes apply under additional doubling or dimension assumptions on the target measure, whereas our capacity conclusion also supplies absolute continuity with respect to variational capacity and a fixed outer domain. The Euclidean application yields form-domain equivalence, smooth form cores, self-adjoint realization, resolvent energy estimates, and local critical-multiplier bounds. Finally, the method supplies the mixed-measure step missing from a previously published $A_2$ generalized Schr\"odinger argument and gives a fixed-dilate finite-scale $A_2$ extension, for the naturally augmented measure, of a later $A_1$ theory.

A Fefferman--Stein inequality for the Dunkl Poisson semigroup and its chamber-lifted formulation

We prove a Fefferman--Stein good-$\lambda$ inequality for the Dunkl Poisson semigroup associated with a finite reflection group and a non-negative multiplicity function. For arbitrary complex-valued $f\in C_c^\infty(\mathbb R^N)$, with no $G$-invariance assumption, it compares the orbit-conical non-tangential maximal function $\mathcal N_P^\beta f$ with the area function $\mathcal S_Pf$ formed from the full space-time Dunkl carr\'e du champ, including its reflection-difference energy. The main obstruction is that a general cut-off creates wall differences not controlled by the local Euclidean-gradient product identity. The good set $E=\{x:\mathcal N_P^\beta f(x)\le\lambda\}$ is $G$-invariant; by the equivariance of the Poisson semigroup, so is $a=\varphi(P_t \mathbf 1_E)$, and hence all reflection differences of the cut-off vanish. Poisson maximal and tail estimates, together with the $L^2$ Littlewood--Paley estimate for $P_t \mathbf 1_{E^c}$, then yield the desired distribution inequality. Its integrated form gives maximal-to-area estimates for every $0<p<2$ and endpoint $H^1$-to-$L^1$ bounds for the orbit-conical and Euclidean-conical intrinsic area functions. For chamber lifts of globally smooth data, the inequality has an equivalent formulation on a fundamental chamber, where orbit cones become Euclidean cones and the reflection energy becomes a finite wall coupling. Combined with the known semigroup square-function characterization, these bounds characterize the Dunkl Poisson maximal Hardy space among $L^1(d\omega)$ data.

On the metric projection onto a convex set: reverse H\"older inequalities and upper bounds

We study the $L^p(\mu)$-norm of the metric projection onto a closed, convex set $C \subset \mathbf{R}^n$ when $\mu$ is the uniform measure on the sphere or the standard Gaussian measure on $\mathbf{R}^n$. Up to universal constants, we determine the optimal reverse H\"older inequalities (i.e., $L^q-L^p$ estimates for $q>p$) for both settings and for all $1 \leq p<q \leq \infty$. The optimal constants in these inequalities depend polynomially on the dimension $n$. We establish upper bounds for the expected norm of the metric projection for a wide class of probability measures. Our inequalities improve and extend previous results of S. Chatterjee.

The Uniform Gromov Hausdorff Gap Problem for Approximating Spheres by Finite Homogeneous Spaces

Let $S^n$ be the unit round sphere with its intrinsic angular metric, normalized so that $\operatorname{diam}S^n=\pi$. For finite homogeneous metric spaces $X$, put \[ \delta_n=\inf_X d_{GH}(X,S^n). \] The main open problem is whether $\inf_{n\ge2}\delta_n>0$. Gelander's theorem gives $\delta_n>0$ in each fixed dimension, but not uniformly. An abstract cross-polytope construction gives the universal upper bound $\delta_n\le\pi/4$. In the opposite direction, ChatGPT combines the passage from small Gromov--Hausdorff error to an approximate finite action on the sphere, logarithmic stability of approximate inner-product-preserving maps due to Cuesta, operator-norm stability of almost representations, and Green's width theorem for finite transitive sets. This gives the quantitative bound \[ \delta_n\ge \frac{c}{(1+\log(n+1))^2} \] for all sufficiently large $n$.

Siu's curvature positivity and $L^2$ extension theorems for $(p,q)$-forms

In this paper, we introduce Siu's curvature operator \(A^E_{p,q}\) for vector-bundle-valued differential forms on K\"ahler manifolds. When $p=n$, this operator reduces to the classical Akizuki--Nakano curvature operator. We first characterize the semipositivity of \(A^E_{p,q}\) in terms of an optimal \(L^2\)-estimate condition for the \(\bar\partial\)-operator, and then prove an Ohsawa--Takegoshi-type extension theorem for \(E\)-valued \((p,q)\)-forms under the curvature condition \(A^E_{p,q+1}\geq0\), using a new twisted basic estimate adapted to this setting. As an application, we prove the local freeness of the higher direct image sheaf \(R^q s_*(\Omega^p_{X/ B_m}\otimes E)\) under the curvature conditions $A^E_{p,q+1}\geq0$ and $A^E_{p,q}\geq0$, where $s: X \to B_m:=\{t\in\mathbb C^m:\ |t|<1\}$ is a proper holomorphic submersion from a K\"ahler manifold $X$, and $E$ is a Hermitian holomorphic vector bundle.

Gradient Gibbs measures with non-convex potentials and the universality class of the Gaussian Free Field

We study a general class of gradient interface models with Hamiltonian $H=\beta\sum V(\nabla\phi)$, $\beta>0$, assuming essentially that the potential $V$ is even, $V'(s)\ge \alpha s$ on $[0,\infty)$ for some $\alpha>0$, and $-M\leq V''\le C$. We establish a Helffer-Sj\"ostrand representation for these models, and use it to prove that their scaling limits are Gaussian Free Fields (GFFs), and that their covariances decay at the same rate as the GFF. This extends results for strictly convex potentials to a large class of non-convex potentials and to arbitrary temperatures. Additionally, we prove Brascamp-Lieb and dimension-free Poincar\'e inequalities for the models. We obtain these results by representing the interface as a mixture of gradient interface models with strictly convex potentials, extending an idea by Biskup-Spohn who had considered mixtures of Gaussians at moderate inverse temperature $\beta=1$. The construction of such a representation is one of the key new contributions of this work.
