TL;DR

Results reveal that IGF2BP2 stabilizes NRF2 mRNA via m6A modification to suppress ferroptosis, thereby promoting NPC cell survival and promoting NPC cell survival.

NRF2‐CDH6‐CEBPD axis suppresses ferroptosis and drives cisplatin resistance in non‐small cell lung cancer

Ferroptosis is a non‐apoptotic form of programmed cell death driven by iron‐dependent lipid peroxidation. Induction of ferroptosis has been shown to overcome chemoresistance in cancer cells. Given the importance of the nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (NRF2) pathway in the regulation of cellular oxidative st...

Knockdown of lncRNA SSTR5-AS1 Regulates Ferroptosis and Immunosuppressive Factor Expression Through STAT3/SLC7A11 Signaling Pathway to Interfere with the Progression of Ovarian Cancer

Long noncoding RNA SSTR5 antisense RNA 1 (lncRNA SSTR5-AS1) is increased in a variety of tumors, but its molecular mechanism in ovarian cancer (OC) remains unreported. lncRNA SSTR5-AS1 and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) expressions in SKOV3 and A2780 cells were interfered (n=3), and the cel...

H3K18la facilitates nasopharyngeal carcinoma progression through the activation of the IGF2BP1-COX2 signaling pathway

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a malignant tumor arising from the nasopharyngeal epithelial mucosa, with its development closely associated with metabolic reprogramming. Lactylation, an epigenetic modification induced by lactate, plays a regulatory role in gene transcription. The precise function and mechanisms of H3...

KAT2B epigenetically activates GSTZ1 via H3K9ac to suppress proliferation and stemness and enhance ferroptosis in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

It is found that KAT2B transcriptionally activates GSTZ1 in a H3K9ac-dependent manner, which in turn inhibits GPX4 expression, thereby suppressing OSCC proliferation and stemness while enhancing ferroptosis sensitivity.

PSMD11 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression by reprogramming lipid metabolism via SREBP1/2 and PPAR-γ

It is demonstrated that PSMD11 was markedly upregulated in HCC tissues and correlated with poor patient prognosis, and a PSMD11–PSMD14–SREBP1/2-PPAR-γ–CPT1A regulatory axis that orchestrates metabolic reprogramming in HCC is uncovered.
