Abstract

Egocentric video offers scalable manipulation data for embodied AI, yet recovering metric 3D hand trajectories remains challenging due to severe object occlusion and frequent out-of-sight gaps. Existing single-frame and windowed temporal regressors fail when hand shortly leaves the frame, while recent video diffusion models (VDMs) rely on heavy, stochastic multi-step sampling as pixel-space renderers. We instead repurpose VDM into a deterministic geometry encoder. A single forward pass over the clean latent exposes scene content beyond current observations, including occluded and out-of-sight hands. We introduce DreamHand, an offline clip-level framework that extracts features via a Deterministic Clean-Latent Encoder and decodes them with a Bidirectional Spatiotemporal Decoder. DreamHand recovers continuous bimanual trajectories with metric placement and no external detector, while a Ray-Based Camera Solver supports a second configuration that needs no test-time camera intrinsics. Across five egocentric benchmarks, DreamHand sets a new state of the art, cutting MPJPE-p by 30% on occlusion-heavy ARCTIC and 40% on HOT3D. These gains reach 46%-61% once out-of-sight hands are included in the evaluation, offering a scalable path from everyday human video to robot manipulation data.

DreamTraj: Generating 6-DoF Object Trajectories by Reading Unrendered Video Diffusion Latents

Accurate prediction of object trajectories during manipulation is essential for closing the perception-action loop. Progress is limited on two fronts: available datasets lack fine-grained language-to-motion annotations, and existing predictors either rely on privileged inputs such as video, depth, or CAD models, or recover motion from fully generated videos through costly, error-prone perception pipelines. We close the supervision gap with the MOVE dataset, 5,038 object-centric egocentric trajectories, each paired with a fine-grained natural-language instruction rather than a coarse verb-noun label. We further propose DreamTraj, which predicts a 6-DoF object trajectory from a single RGB image and a task instruction, requiring no video, depth, or CAD model at inference: rather than generating a video, it reads motion from the internal representations of a frozen image-to-video diffusion model at an early denoising step. A lightweight flow-matching Reader decodes query-key attention tracks and pooled hidden states into relative 6-DoF poses. To our knowledge, this is the first approach to directly decode object 6-DoF trajectories from intermediate video diffusion representations rather than generated pixels. DreamTraj sets a new state of the art on both translation and rotation against forecasters that consume multi-frame or privileged inputs, and runs 4.6x faster than generate-then-extract pipelines.

ReViV: Reconstructing the Viewer and the View in 4D from Monocular Egocentric Video

Egocentric devices, such as wearable front-facing cameras, provide a unique perspective for capturing the continuous interaction between a human viewer and the surrounding environment. A holistic and efficient multimodal model capable of reconstructing this 4D representation is therefore highly desirable. However, existing approaches often rely on auxiliary inputs such as pre-computed camera trajectories, treat scene perception and human ego-motion modeling as separate problems despite their strong interdependency, and suffer from slow inference time. To address these limitations, we present ReViV, the first unified framework for holistic egocentric 4D reconstruction that extracts both viewer and view dynamics from a single monocular RGB video. We formulate the task as learning the full joint probability distribution over multimodal signals, including RGB video, camera trajectory, gaze direction, full-body motion, hand motion, and depth. Powered by a Masked Generative Egocentric Transformer, ReViV operates within a single feed-forward architecture to simultaneously reconstruct the temporally consistent 4D reconstruction across the viewer and the view with fast inference speed. Extensive experiments on diverse benchmarks, including HoloAssist, HOT3D, ARCTIC, Aria Digital Twin, and TACO, demonstrate that ReViV achieves state-of-the-art accuracy and efficiency across holistic ego-body, hand, and gaze reconstruction, camera tracking, while maintaining highly competitive egocentric depth estimation without relying on heavy task-specific priors. TARS: Timestep-Aware Data Scaling for 3D-Free Video Re-Shooting

Video re-shooting aims to regenerate videos with controllable camera motion and viewpoint. Existing methods rely on explicit 3D priors, which are limited by reconstruction quality and often perform poorly when synthesizing previously unseen regions, or on paired videos with different camera trajectories, whose scarcity hinders generalization. We revisit video re-shooting through text-driven semantic viewpoint specification, enabling control over shot scale, viewing angle, and first-/third-person perspective. To this end, we propose TARS, a 3D-free video re-shooting paradigm. Timestep-wise sensitivity analysis reveals that camera motion is primarily established during high-noise stages, where coarse spatiotemporal structures are formed. Based on this insight, we introduce self-supervised training to learn camera dynamics and fundamental visual representations without paired re-shooting data or 3D reconstruction. Through data scaling and joint textual-camera conditioning, TARS supports robust camera and viewpoint control, plausibly synthesizing regions beyond the source view under large camera motions while enabling reverse-angle re-shooting and perspective switching. Extensive experiments show that TARS provides more accurate and temporally consistent camera control than prior methods. Project Page: https://ymlinfeng.github.io/TARS.github.io/

HandFlow: Fully Generative 4D Hand Recovery with Flow Matching

Accurate monocular 4D hand reconstruction remains challenging. Per-frame discriminative regressors lack temporal context and often produce jittery predictions. Temporal models improve consistency by aggregating information across frames, but they are typically deterministic regressors, making them vulnerable to ambiguous observations caused by occlusion and motion blur. Generative modeling offers a natural alternative by learning a prior over plausible hand motion sequences, enabling coherent hand-state recovery when visual evidence is incomplete or unreliable. Motivated by this observation, we present HandFlow, a fully generative flow-matching framework for temporally coherent 3D hand pose and shape estimation from monocular video. Given visual and skeletal observations, HandFlow denoises an entire temporal window of MANO parameters through a single ODE integration. To support this, we use a Flux-style dual-stream transformer that attends across the full sequence to capture long-range dependencies without autoregressive decoding, and a confidence-aware continuous masking mechanism that blends observed features with learnable mask tokens to handle noisy or missing observations. Experiments on DexYCB and HOT3D show that HandFlow achieves state-of-the-art performance, with particularly large gains in world-space accuracy and temporal smoothness. It reduces world-space pose error by over 30% compared with the strongest baseline and achieves the lowest acceleration error among all evaluated methods, while remaining competitive in per-frame pose accuracy. Moreover, on a single GPU HandFlow reconstructs a 150-frame sequence at 47 fps, about 12x faster than the fastest prior video-based method, with reconstruction itself accounting for only a small fraction of the end-to-end latency.
