Abstract
This paper studies learning-based model predictive control (MPC) for stabilizing unknown discrete-time linear systems with hard input constraints and additive unbounded sub-Gaussian disturbances. We adopt a certainty-equivalence (CE) design that combines a switching MPC control law with online regularized least-squares (RLS) parameter estimation. The resulting switching control law blends the MPC with a saturated deadbeat controller, ensuring global closed-loop stability. Building upon non-asymptotic error bound of least-squares, we derive non-asymptotic, high-probability stability bounds for the closed-loop system under the proposed switching controller. Numerical experiments illustrate and support the theoretical findings.
A practical finite-time adaptive fuzzy tracking controller is constructed, which guarantees the semi-global practical finite-time stability of the closed-loop system, with all closed-loop signals remaining bounded for all time and the tracking error converging to a residual set within finite time.
This paper addresses asymptotic tracking with prescribed transient and steady-state performance for a class of uncertain high-order nonlinear systems with uncertain dynamics. The proposed controller combines a barrier-type transformation of a filtered tracking error with a robust integral of the sign of the error (RISE...

The deployment of learning-based controllers in modern networked cyber-physical systems is constrained by bandwidth limitations, partial state observability, and parametric uncertainties. Traditional adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) relies on full-state feedback and periodic sampling, inducing network congestion and...

This paper addresses the challenging problem of output feedback stabilization for nonlinear nonminimum phase (NMP) systems in the presence of parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. The proposed framework integrates three distinct observers: a reduced-order observer for reconstructing the unmeasured states...
