The rare decays $K^+\to\pi^+\nu\bar\nu$ and $K_L\to\pi^0\nu\bar\nu$ are among the most precisely predicted flavor observables, enabling determinations of the CKM matrix and its CP-violating phase, as well as providing sensitivity to new physics at scales far beyond the reach of colliders. We propose a dedicated rare-kaon program at Fermilab, exploiting the high-intensity proton complex currently under construction for its neutrino programs and potential collider R&D. In this letter, we estimate the achievable kaon flux and project the sensitivity to the aforementioned kaon golden modes, as well as the reach on new dynamics in the UV with an EFT framework. Such a program could measure both modes with unprecedented precision, probe new physics up to $\mathcal{O}(100)$ TeV, and determine the unitarity triangle from kaon processes alone. All this can be achieved while sharing infrastructure with other frontier programs.
The electron-positron Future Circular Collider will provide an unprecedented opportunity for precision studies at the $Z$ pole. In addition to improving the electroweak measurements pioneered at LEP, Tera-$Z$ statistics and modern jet flavor reconstruction could make rare, flavor-resolved final states accessible as pre...
We study the future prospects for precision measurements of purely leptonic charged-current kaon and pion decays. Together with the ratio of leptonic widths $R_K^\nu=\Gamma(K\to e\nu)/\Gamma(K\to\mu\nu)$, we consider the single ratios $R_{K\pi}^{\ell=\mu,e} = \Gamma(K \to \ell\nu) / \Gamma(\pi \to \ell\nu)$, for which...

The strange quark and antiquark contents of the proton remain weakly constrained compared to the other light quarks, particularly the asymmetry between the two. Production of a $W^\mp$ boson in association with a charmed meson $D^{(*)\pm}$ could provide additional constraints in future fits of parton distribution funct...

Upcoming experiments are set to dramatically improve the search for charged lepton flavor violation, with the sensitivity to the rates of $\mu\to eee$ decay and $\mu N\to eN$ conversion expected to improve by four orders of magnitude in the near future. We study how these measurements reshape our understanding of funda...

We propose to investigate the dynamics of hadronic matter in the strong QCD regime using the pion-beam facility at GSI in conjunction with HADES. This program will study hadron physics through elementary pion-nucleon interactions up to $\sqrt{s}\approx$2.35 GeV, bridging cold matter research with detailed analyses of e...

The penguin-dominated $B\to\phi K$ decays provide sensitive probes of physics beyond the Standard Model. Interpreting them at increasing experimental precision requires control of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed hadronic contributions. Using a factorization approach, we obtain Standard Model benchmarks for the branching rati...
