Abstract

We introduce \emph{latent geometry} in BFSS/BMN models. Before an emergent geometry evaporates at the geometric transition, large-$d$ Gaussianization encodes its information in the exceptional $N=2$ sector selected by the baby fuzzy sphere, a single active spin-$1/2$ Pauli block. Dimensional reduction, finite-$N$ Gaussianization and exact Molien--Weyl projection transport this encoding to mass-deformed BFSS$_2$. At $N=2$, the same stable BFSS$_2$ oscillator admits inequivalent unitary $\mathbf{H}^2_\theta=\mathbf{EAdS}^2_\theta$ and $\mathbf{dS}^2_\theta$ decodings, realizing spacetime transmutation and the emergence of Lorentzian time.

The I3322 quantum value is attained spatially but not in finite dimension

Let $S$ be the common tensor-product and commuting-operator supremum of the $I_{3322}$ Bell functional in the Collins-Gisin normalization. Starting from a certified value window and Bellman/path equivalence, we prove that no finite-dimensional quantum strategy attains $S$, whereas a spatial strategy on $\ell^2(\mathbb{...

Hilbert space in the flat limit of AdS/CFT. I. Massive particles

The flat limit of AdS$_4$ spacetime corresponds, at the level of the symmetry algebra, to the In\"on\"u--Wigner contraction $\mathfrak{so}(2,3) \to \mathfrak{iso}(1,3)$. We describe the emergence of the Hilbert space of massive scattering states of arbitrary integer spin $s$ from unitary lowest-weight representations $...

Second-Chern Bounds in Non-Abelian Quantum Geometry

We study the quantum geometry of doubly degenerate energy levels in a four-dimensional parameter space. We find that the scalar quantum metric $g$ and the Berry curvature $F$ obey $(\operatorname{tr} g)^2/16\geq\sqrt{\det g}\geq |2\Tr(F\wedge F)-\Tr F\wedge \Tr F|/24$. The first inequality characterizes the anisotropy...

Superselection theory for 2D braided quantum spin systems via Connes fusion

The article arXiv:2410.21454 constructed a braided $\mathrm{W^*}$-tensor category of superselection sectors associated to a net of von Neumann algebras on a suitably geometric poset using localized and transportable endomorphisms. In this article, we construct an equivalent tensor product and braiding using the Connes...

Superconducting Pairing Symmetry on Geometric-Algebra Foundations via the Scalar-Projection Method

We formulate the low-energy theory of superconducting pairing in the geometric algebra $Cl_{3,0}$. Conventional BCS mean-field theory and its extensions ($s$-, $p$-, $d$-wave, etc.) have algebraic counterparts in an eight-dimensional real multivector space. The construction is a two-level projection: matrix blocks are...

Krylov Break Times from an Inhomogeneous Lieb--Robinson Light Cone

Krylov and Lanczos approximations are used in quantum dynamics, quantum subspace methods, and Hamiltonian learning. A practical question is how long an $m$-dimensional Krylov truncation can be trusted. We argue that this time is fixed by causal propagation on the associated Jacobi chain. The relevant distance is not th...
