TL;DR

The Taguchi’s Method has been used as the Design of Experiment (DOE) in order to get suitable parameters for injection molding process when HA/UHMWPE were used as a feedstock and found that the optimized parameter for injection temperature, injection pressure, injection time and holding time were 220˚C, 0.6MPa, 7s and 5s respectively.

Coating Nano Hydroxyapatite Based on Rice Snail Shells (Pila ampullacea) /Chitosan/Hyaluronic Acid on Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) Using Electrophoretic Deposition Method for Biomedical Applications

The demand for implants in Indonesia is expected to increase to US$ 36.67 million by 2026 at a CAGR of 15.2%. Most of the implants used are Ti6Al4V due to its mechanical properties and biocompatibility. However, these implants do not adhere and can leach aluminum and vanadium ions into the body, which accelerates imp...

Imaging Performance Analysis of Green Mussel Shell-Derived Hydroxyapatite as a Sustainable Material for Bone Phantom Fabrication

Bone phantom is a testing tool in radiology used to mimic the radiological properties of human bone tissue, with hydroxyapatite (HA) as one of its key mineral components. In this study, HA was synthesized from green mussel shells (Perna viridis) through two different shell preparation methods, namely HA 1 produced by c...
